Valerie is a modern Renaissance woman, with a vast array of talents that include acting, stand-up comedy, classical piano, singing, dancing, painting, and writing. Born and raised in Manila, she studied Art & Animation at the University of Texas and Media at Korea University in Seoul. As a teenager, Valerie contributed her paintings to numerous UNESCO events, showcasing Philippine culture and society. She is also the illustrator of the children's book, "The Adventures of Aya and Dada" by Byron Taylor.

Valerie's musical talents are impressive, with a background in Italian, German, and English opera as well as being a virtuoso pianist and trained singer. She has performed on "Wish! 1075" and "The Ultimate Singer" (Amazon Prime). Her dancing skills are equally impressive. Having performed as a soloist in both the Philippines and the US, she has danced in music videos.

Valerie is also an accomplished stand-up comedian, having performed in numerous shows throughout California. She opened for Rex Navarrete at the Long Beach Filipino Festival 2022, which raised funds for the establishment of a new Filipino Town in Long Beach. She has also hosted the Santa Fe Art Springs 2023, and she was invited to perform at the LA Lantern Expo 2024, the biggest lantern festival in the country. Valerie is the star of her own show, "The Val Show," which has become an established production in the LA comedy scene.

Her acting credits include TV, film, and theater. She has worked with the Berubian Theater Company, Spirit on Stage, North Lake Theater, Gantimpala Theater (Philippines), the Fringe Theater (Philippines), and more. Valerie has appeared in various TV shows in the USA such as "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Seal Team, "In Ice Cold Blood," & in a skit for Thursday Night Football for the NFL as well as TV shows in the Philippines such as "Beautiful Stranger," "Karelasyon," and "Imbestigador." She has also starred in numerous films that have appeared in major film festivals. In 2025, she was filmed by Arden Lewis, an Emmy award winning director, for Arden’s upcoming documentary.

Valerie's diverse and impressive talents make her a true Renaissance woman, and she continues to amaze audiences with her performances.
